The Implementing Cisco Data Center Networking Infrastructure 2 (DCNI-2) is a five-day instructor-led course with lab exercises that are intended to prepare students for the DCNI-2 certification exam (no. 642-974). The course schedule consists of approximately 50 percent lecture and 50 percent lab exercises. The DCNI-2 Delivery Lab is accessed using a remote access procedure coupled with a GUI application that provides connectivity to all lab devices.
In this course, you will learn how the Cisco Information Server fits into your environment and the types of administration tasks typically required by the product.
In this course, you will become experienced with planning, designing, and implementing a FlexPod integrated platform that includes NetApp unified storage systems, Cisco Unified Computing System (UCS) servers, Cisco Nexus fabric, and VMware vSphere virtualization platform.
Using real-world scenarios and examples, you will explore all the components of the FlexPod system and walk through installing, managing, and troubleshooting the platform as a whole as well as all of the individual Cisco, NetApp, and VMware components.
Building on the knowledge base and scripting experience learned in UCCX, you will explore more advanced techniques in scripting and overall Cisco Unified CCX functionality. You will learn how to implement features that extend the functionality of Cisco Unified CCX using many of the tools that are already available in the premium version of the product. You will also learn about the Agent Desktop Interface, Desktop Administrator, and the Desktop Workflow Administrator to invoke behaviors that involve third-party applications and web-based apps such as ‘Web Callback Option’ and ‘Leave a Message in Queue.’ Scripting and subsystem management is also covered.
