Sierra 201: OS X Server 5 Essentials
COURSE OUTLINE:
OS X Server 5 Essentials is a three-day course designed to give technical coordinators and entry-level system administrators the skills, tools, and knowledge to implement and maintain a network that uses macOS Server 5. Students learn how to install and configure macOS Server 5 to provide network-based services, such as file sharing, authentication, and printing. Tools for efficiently managing and deploying macOS Server 5 and software updates are also covered. The course is a combination of lectures and hands-on case study exercises that provide practical real-world experience.
For Connected Classroom attendees:�
Connected events will be held at a local training center with state-of-the-art video conferencing equipment allowing the course to be broadcast to multiple locations. Students will have the same classroom experience and interact live with the connected classroom instructor. The instructor will be on a large, HD quality screen with interactive video and audio to listen and communicate with students. A second large HD quality screen will display the instructor�s live presentation.
