Business Process Mapping & Modeling

COURSE OUTLINE:

Description Business process mapping and modelling is an essential component of Business Process Redesign (BPR), as well as other business process improvement initiatives. These include reengineering, systems development, quality management and continuous process improvement. In this 3-day workshop, students will acquire the knowledge and skills to map and accurately model business processes at the detailed workflow level as well as the enterprise level.

Learning Objectives
Students will learn the Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) and the Integrated Definition for Process Modelling (IDEF0) method. These are open mapping and modelling standards that are used by a number of leading business process modeling tools. They are easy to understand and can be applied to all aspects of business process innovation. These methods facilitate intuitive analysis, creative thinking, and the development of IT systems.
