In this course, you will be introduced to IBM Bluemixï¿½IBM’s platform as a service (PaaS) product that is based on Cloud Foundry, Open Stack, and other open technologies. You will learn the relevant cloud concepts and architectural foundations of Cloud Foundry and Bluemix. This course is designed as a starting point for enterprise developers but does not assume any programming knowledge.
In this course, you will receive an introduction to Oracle’s relational database, and a hands-on introduction in how to add, update, extract, and organize information from the database. You will work with Oracle’s Structured Query Language (SQL), SQL*Plus, and SQL Developer.
In this course, you will learn the basics of writing and running Python scripts as well as more advanced features such as file operations, regular expressions, working with binary data, and using the extensive functionality of Python modules. Extra emphasis is placed on features unique to Python, such as tuples, array slices, and output formatting. After completing this course, you will immediately be able to use Python to complete tasks in the real world.
Your training and experience using Microsoft® Access® 2013 has given you basic database management skills such as creating tables, designing forms and reports, and building queries. In this course, you will expand your knowledge of relational database design, write advanced queries, structure existing data, share data across applications, and customize reports. Extending your knowledge of Microsoft Access 2013 will result in a robust, functional database for your users.
